Here to help

Let’s find
the next step.

Choose the kind of help you need. For an app issue, include your device, app version and a short description of what happened.

Website or guide feedback

Send the page address and the detail that needs attention. Please avoid including private information about another person.

Contact the publisher

DogPath app support

For a technical issue, tell the support team what you expected and what happened instead. Never send a password or payment-card details.

Contact DogPath’s publisher

Health or behaviour help

Contact your veterinarian for sudden changes or possible pain. Serious fear, aggression and bite concerns need individual professional support.

Choosing a trainer

Find the right help

A clearer question.
A useful next step.

Separate a website issue, an app problem, a store purchase and a concern about your dog so the information reaches the right place.

Prepare a useful technical report

Start with what you were trying to do and what happened instead. Name the feature, your device type, operating-system version if known and the DogPath app version. Describe whether the issue happens each time or only in a particular situation.

Example report structure

Task: the feature you opened and the action you attempted.

Expected: what you thought would happen.

Observed: the message or behaviour you actually saw.

Context: device, app version and relevant steps already tried.

Include an exact error message if it contains no sensitive information. If you provide a screenshot through the support service, remove unrelated notifications, personal location details or account information first. Never send a password, authentication code or full payment-card number.

A concise sequence is more useful than repeating the problem many times. If a suggested troubleshooting step would remove data or change an account, understand the effect before proceeding. The support team should be able to explain why that step is relevant.

Use the original store for subscription questions

Check which Apple or Google account made the purchase and use that store’s subscription information to review the current status. A website visit does not manage a mobile subscription, and deleting an app is not a substitute for following the store’s cancellation process.

Use Apple’s subscription guidance or Google Play’s subscription guidance for the current steps. Review the renewal date and confirmation shown by the store. This website cannot cancel a subscription for you.

Restoring access and requesting a refund are different tasks. For an Apple in-app purchase that is missing, consult Apple’s restoration guidance and the restore option provided in the app where applicable. Refund eligibility depends on the store’s process and circumstances; see Google Play’s refund information for Google purchases.

If support needs purchase context, provide only the relevant non-sensitive details through the official channel. Do not publish receipts or account details in a public comment.

Describe permission and tracking issues precisely

A feature that uses location, photos or AI input can involve a permission or consent choice. Read the current app explanation and check the relevant device setting. Enable only the access you intend to grant; more permission is not automatically the answer to every problem.

For an active walk-tracking issue, describe what you observed: the feature would not start, a route was incomplete, or a saved activity did not show the expected information. Those are different reports. Include relevant device and app versions rather than guessing a technical cause.

If a sound tool is involved, test only at a comfortable volume and away from your dog’s ears. Report which control you used and what the device did. Do not repeatedly expose the dog to an unexpected sound while investigating a phone issue.

Privacy questions should identify the feature and the information you want explained. Read the app policy through its store listing and contact the publisher through the official route. Avoid sending extra personal data just to ask how data is handled.

Report an article issue or request a new topic

For a website problem, include the page address and the affected heading, link or control. If text is hard to read on your device, say whether it overlaps, gets cut off or requires sideways scrolling. A description of the visible issue helps distinguish layout from content.

For an editorial concern, quote only the short passage needed to identify it and explain what is unclear. Useful feedback may concern missing preparation, an ambiguous term or a source that no longer supports the wording.

A new-topic suggestion should describe the everyday question. For example, you might want help deciding what to record after a short session or how to coordinate puppy care between adults. This gives the publisher a concrete reading need to consider.

Send feedback through the publisher’s contact page. Submitting a suggestion does not create an individual training or veterinary consultation, and no particular publication or response timeframe is promised here.

Choose individual help for health or safety concerns

When the issue involves possible pain, a sudden behaviour change, severe distress, aggression or a bite concern, a general article or app-support conversation is not the appropriate assessment. Contact your veterinarian and suitable qualified behaviour support.

Describe what you observed and the surrounding circumstances. Do not recreate a risky event to demonstrate it. Keep people and animals safely separated from situations you cannot manage while arranging appropriate advice.

When choosing a trainer, ask about methods, relevant qualifications, how exercises are adjusted and when veterinary referral is needed. AVSAB’s guidance on humane training and choosing a trainer offers a starting point for those questions.

The practical distinction is simple: technical support can investigate an app feature; an appropriate professional can assess the individual dog and situation. Providing the right kind of context helps each service do its actual job.

Common app questions

A few things
to check first.

How do I manage a subscription?

Use the subscription settings for the Apple or Google account used for the purchase. The store shows the applicable renewal date, cancellation options and terms. Contact official DogPath support if a purchase is not recognised.

Why is walk tracking unavailable?

Check the app’s location permissions in your device settings and review the current app instructions. Only enable access you are comfortable granting. If the issue continues, tell support your device and app version.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use the app’s restore-purchases option, where available, while signed in to the original store account. If access does not return, contact support with non-sensitive purchase context.

Can I request a new guide?

Yes. Send the publisher the everyday training topic you would find useful. A request does not replace urgent veterinary or behaviour support.
